RK Threads is a custom embroidery studio in Melbourne, offering affordable, high quality embroidery on a wide range of clothing.

OSCAR.

Oscar founded RK Threads in his Mornington garage in 2020 with close friends Sam and Harry, a secondhand embroidery machine, and a dream. While Sam is now teaching, and Harry is pursuing a PhD, they were an integral part of growing the business. Oscar continued to teach himself along the way, learning all the tips and tricks to embroidery along the way. RK Threads quickly outgrew that machine and garage, and Oscar has expanded into Melbourne's southeast, embroidering new designs every day on his four(!!) Brother PR-1055x, 10-needle machines. 

Oscar's fun fact: Oscar auditioned for X-Factor in 2014, absolutely smashing 'Just Haven't Met You Yet' by Michael Buble. It was a yes from Danni and Natalie, but unfortunately a no from Redfoo and Ronan. Oscar's musical journey is TBC.. watch out world.
